Life Transitions

All life changes, even if it is for the better, can be filled with anxiety and a sense of loss. Even natural and subtle changes, like biological growth or moving from one home to another, a new job, loss of a job, changing careers, planning a family, empty nest syndrome, starting college or graduating from college. All of these changes can bring forth numerous anxiety and angst.

Life transitions can often cause emotional discomfort. The uneasiness can create an unneeded obstacle and divert your energy from your intended aspirations. It is important to have somewhere to process some of these feelings and have someone that can provide you with concrete skills in how to plan for change, handle the change that has already occurred and learn how to manage the day to day stress and help you to, make sense of it.

For some people change can present as a small ache or it can feel debilitating; others may just feel frustrated. I can work with you to help navigate the different feelings, doubts, questions or anxieties that may come with the change. Together we can create manageable plans in order to make what may seem overwhelming less daunting. It is okay to ask for help in time of change and transition.

Life transitions can make us question our life purpose, identities, life goals and our chosen path. Together we can explore these thoughts and feelings and begin to make sense out of what may seem a confusing time.
